INVISIBLE MARVIN HOLLAND

Why haven't we heard Marvin speaking on any of the issues concerning the CTAs. He is the Section Vice Chair elected by his department.

He hasn't addressed the changes going on in the cleaners dept. They have created new titles for the Managers appointed to oversee the cleaners. The new title is Station Environmental Program. Why did we see this in a MTA Bulletin?

There is a TB scare and he is awfully quite. What is being done to address this health concern? All of the elected Officers representing the CTAs should be out there explaining what’s going on. Maybe they are afraid of catching this contagious illness or maybe they just don't give a damn.

Marvin when you were unelected you were visible, now that you are elected you are invisible. Why should we expect anything different from you? You did the same thing when you were an elected Officer (2) Administrations before this one.

Many of the posts and comments on this blog hit the nail on the head including this post.Marvin Holland was out at cta locations and talking up a storm about Roger Toussaint was the problem for transit workers,Marvin and his folks would make everything o.k.Of course that was before and during the election last year, now is completely different like the post says. The shame is this total breakdown of being there for the members and communicating with us is his course of action,I guess I should say inaction around the T.B. scare ,he and the Stations V.P.Maurice Jenkins came out to P.S.248 and were totally useless and have not come out to any Mobile Wash locations since to talk to the members. What kind of crisis would it have to be for Marvin and his cronies to talk with the members, try to come up with a plan of action and represent us.This is how he acts and to think how he used to knock Toussaint, well now Roger's with the International what's holding Marvin back now from doing something after his years of big talking?CTA Mobile Wash

The post and it's comment tell how I feel. Many Night cta's in mobile wash are disgusted by the inaction and non-communication of Marvin Holland and his tbou cohorts. He and them did all this on and on non-stop talking against Toussaint and when they came to power how everything would be wonderful for cleaners. We were sold a bill of goods,we have no idea what they do,he and them just talked a lot of b.s. knocking Toussaint for a lot of superifical reasons, just for them to be in power. Why did they contest for power when people like Samuelson and Holland apparently had no idea of what to do once in?I am ashamed that I fell for Mavin's and tbou's okie doke. another CTA from Mobile Wash

I was a known critic of Toussaint during his last two terms and still feel that way about his last two terms.Having said that Marvin Holland's invisible performance as an officer, Marvin ,hey what you doing now, what does he do,does he organize the riders, the riders can organize themselves. You were elected to represent Stations CTA'S,how do you feel about the job you've done of that so far?Why don't you do that job,is it that you feel it's beneath you?If so,resign.Despite my big misgivings of Toussaint,Iv'e got to be real and admit Roger would be doing a much better job than Samuelsen,Maurice Jenkins,Marvin Holland and Company. You would know there is a union on the job and on T.a. property, the Samuelsen Administration is a huge disappointment and is moving towards an embarassment A third Mobile Wash CTA

I am a newcomer to this site as some coworkers showed me that Samuelson complained about it in the Post. This post is very true.Maybe Marvin never comes down to the subway system and talk to his fellow cleaners cause his nice suits might get dirty. CTA,Track and Tile
